How do I tell my bf I can’t continue? He’s down on his luck right now – he’s going through some personal stuff and doesn’t have a job, so I’ve been paying for everything – food, drinks, transport, etc for the two of us. I make less than 100,000 a month, and our last date cost me 40,000 (I didn’t anticipate that I’d have to pay for everything). I can barely afford to pay for myself, let alone him as well. But I really like him, and I don’t want him to hate me or feel like I’m abandoning him while he goes through such a difficult time. I’m supposed to be seeing him again this weekend but honestly, I really need to save money, especially after our last date. What would you guys do?
